Welcome to my travels page. To the left, you'll find links to my photographs and journals from the places I've been.

My love for travel began when I was a small child. My parents thought it was very important to share the world, or at least a good part of the USA, with my brother and me. We'd pack everything up in the van and drive across the country for three weeks during the summers. When I was very little, we went from California up through Washington State, and spent some time in the California National Parks.

When I was nine years old, we watched Yellowstone National Park burn on television in 1988. The next year, my dad decided that we should go. Despite everything I've seen before and since, I still think Yellowstone is one of the most beautiful places on this curious world of ours. I've been back there five or six times now.

My current goal is to visit every National Park in the USA. So far, I've seen about half of them. Of course, I'd never turn down an opportunity to travel outside the USA, although so far, I've only seen Canada, Mexico, and Ireland. That will change soon, however. My camera and I plan to wander to far more distant places. In the meantime, why don't you read my weblogs, look at my photos, and sign my guestbook?
